ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Official records released for the period from April to June 2026 have disclosed the details of gifts presented to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to the Cabinet Division documents, all the gifts received during the said period have been submitted to the Cabinet Division, while the process of determining their value is underway.
According to the documents, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was presented with a sugar bowl, a framed model of a car, shields, pens, cufflinks, ties, coffee cup and water glass set, tea cups and saucers, vases, a five-piece set of traditional Iranian turquoise inlay handicrafts, a traditional Chinese scroll painting, a model of the China Space Station and other commemorative souvenirs as gifts by heads of various countries and dignitaries.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar received a model of an Egyptian statue, a model of the Prophet’s Mosque, cuff links and other souvenirs, which are part of the records of the Cabinet Division.
According to the documents, Deputy Chief of Protocol Muhammad Arsalan Mir also received a valuable diamond collection wristwatch as an official gift, the valuation of which is also underway.
The Cabinet Division says that all the gifts have been received in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Tosha Khana, and after their value is determined, further action will be taken as per the law and Tosha Khana rules.
