BARBADOS (Kashmir English): West Indies have announced a 15-member squad for the two-Test series against Pakistan.
West Indies will be led by Roston Chase, while Jomel Warrican has been appointed as vice-captain.
The squad includes Joshua Bishop, Tejnarine Chanderpaul, Joshua de Silva, Justin Graves, Keum Budge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Shemar Joseph, Brandon King, Kirk McKenzie, Gudakesh Moti, Keemo Paul, Kemar Roach, Jaden Sales and Jameel Warrick.
It should be noted that the two-Test series between Pakistan and West Indies will begin on July 25.
The national team last defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 in a Test series on its soil in 2023, but since then Pakistan has lost seven consecutive overseas Test matches.
Pakistan is again being led by Babar Azam in this series, who has been appointed as the captain of the Test team in place of Shan Masood.
