MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) echoed with patriotic slogans as the Defence Pakistan rally set off from Domel, heading towards Leepa Valley. The rally drew large crowds and showcased strong public solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces.
Led by Minister of State Diwan Ali Khan Chughtai, the Defence Pakistan rally included participants from all walks of life; from students, teachers, and civil society members to government employees, who united in their message of unwavering support for Pakistan and its military forces.
Carrying national flags and chanting powerful slogans such as “What is our relation with Pakistan? There is no God but Allah,” “Pak Army, march forward, we are with you,” and “Long live Pakistan, long live Pak Army,” the participants displayed immense spirit and national pride.
In an exclusive conversation with Kashmir Digital Minister of State Diwan Ali Khan Chughtai said, “Today, we organised the Pakistan Defence rally from Muzaffarabad to Leepa Valley along the Line of Control as a powerful expression of solidarity with our armed forces,”.
He further expressed, “We are highly alert, vigilant, and fully prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with our military. The people of AJK will defend the land of Pakistan with their last drop of blood.”
When asked about India’s repeated provocations, he added, “We are not advocates of war, but if India chooses misadventure, even the youth of Kashmir will not hesitate to respond. We will turn every inch of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a graveyard for invading forces.”
Speaking to the media, many attendees shared their emotional attachment to the country and its armed forces. One participant stated, “We have always honoured the green crescent flag, and we would rather be buried in it than in a shroud. If India tries any adventure, it will face defeat, God willing.”
Residents living near the border also expressed their firm stance, saying they had endured Indian aggression for over three decades. “This time, our military leadership has responded strongly, and we are proud of our army chief’s clear message to the enemy,” said one speaker. “We will be on the front line before our soldiers, God willing.”
The Defence Pakistan rally also highlighted the unity among various sectors of society. “Students, teachers, civil servants, and civil society stand shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces,” said another participant. “If India attempts any aggression, the people of Kashmir will act as a solid wall in defence of Pakistan.”
The participants stressed that the Defence Pakistan rally was more than just a symbolic event, it was a loud and clear message to both friends and foes that the entire nation is ready to stand by its armed forces and defend its independence at all costs.
