ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has auctioned various commercial plots and constructed shops in Islamabad worth Rs2.63 billion on the second day of its three-day auction, raising a total of Rs 16.43 billion in the first two days.
According to CDA officials, commercial properties worth Rs13.806 billion were sold on the first day of the auction, while the second day’s auction further boosted the overall proceeds.
As per details, Plot No. 2 in I-9 Markaz was auctioned for Rs529.575 million, while Plot No. 18 in Blue Area fetched Rs9.134 billion.
Another commercial plot, Plot No. C-1 in Blue Area, was sold for Rs3.513 billion, while Plot No. 2 in G-6 I&T, Aabpara Market, was auctioned for Rs629.32 million.
According to officials, Agro Farm No. 18 was sold for around Rs1.21 billion, while Agro Farm No. 17-A fetched Rs966 million.
Several shops at the Blue Area Parking Plaza were also auctioned, including Shop No. 8-A sold for Rs152.646 million, Shop No. 10-A for Rs147.766 million, and Shop No. 12-A for Rs153.634 million.
On the first day, Plot No. 2, G-1, in Sector I-9 Markaz was auctioned for Rs529.575 million while Plot No. 18 in Blue Area was auctioned for Rs9,134.65 million.
Another plot, Plot No. C-1 in Blue Area was sold for Rs. 3,513.32 million while plot No. 2 in G-6 I&T, Aabpara Market was auctioned for Rs. 629.32 million.
All bids received will undergo a comprehensive scrutiny before being presented to the CDA Board, which is the competent authority to approve or reject the bids.
CDA officials say that the three-day auction of commercial plots will continue at the Jinnah Convention Center until August 6, where more commercial plots and other properties will be offered for auction.
