BAGH (Kashmir English): PML-N has invited Sardar Sajid Iqbal Abbasi, Chairman of Awami Dast-o-Bazoo party to join the government.
Abbasi had defeated Muslim Conference President Sardar Attique Khan from LA-14 West Bagh in the Monday elections.
PML-N central leader and Member of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi went to the home of the newly elected Member of the Legislative Assembly from West Bagh and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Awami Dast-o-Bazoo, Sajid Iqbal Abbasi, carrying a message from the PML-N central leadership and the Minister of Kashmir Affairs.
Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi extended an invitation to Jammu and Kashmir Awami Dast-o-Bazoo to join the new government being formed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, to which Sajid Iqbal Abbasi stated that a decision will be made after consultation with colleagues.
It is worth noting that Awami Dast-o-Bazoo Chairman Sardar Sajid Iqbal Abbasi has gained immense popularity by defeating Muslim Conference President Sardar Attique Khan by a lead of 21,000 votes.
In his victory speech, Sajid Iqbal Abbasi surprised everyone by announcing the launch of 100 crore projects for the youth.
Abbasi, who is doing business in the United Arab Emirates, defeated Sardar Attique only after carrying out developmental works worth crores in the West Bagh constituency.
PML-N offers ministry to Abbasi
According to sources, PML-N has offered a ministry to Sardar Sajid Iqbal Abbasi upon joining the government, and it is highly possible that he joins the government.
