KASUR (Kashmir English): Indian Border Security Force (BSF) martyred two “unarmed” Pakistani citizens and injured a third near the Pakistan-India international border in Punjab’s Kasur district, security sources said on Friday.
The three men, reportedly residents of Ladhar village, had moved a few steps beyond a border pillar when BSF personnel allegedly opened fire on them without warning.
According to the sources, “all three men were unarmed” and were targeted by BSF’s unprovoked firing.
The deceased were identified as Azmat Rasool Shah and Mohsin Jatt, both residents of Jattan Wali Haveli in Ladhar village. The third individual sustained injuries in the incident.
The security sources also debunked Indian media’s propaganda over the incident, saying that India has kept alive the false flag operation and declared innocent civilians as intruders.
Earlier today, the Indian media reported that border security forces have neutralised two “Pakistani” intruders while trying to enter Indian territory by crossing the International Border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran area.
The sources, however, maintained that none of the three persons had tried to cross the border fence. They described the firing on civilians as a “blatant” violation of established border arrangements and standard operating procedures.
