MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Department of Education Schools Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has approved promotion of 200 teachers under the Time Scale.
The department made significant progress by resolving pending cases of teachers. Secretary Education Schools Qazi Inayat Ali convened a detailed meeting of the Time Scale Committee.
During the meeting, promotion cases of teachers were thoroughly reviewed and decisions were made according to merit and service rules.
The meeting approved promotion of 18 teachers from Grade-16 to Grade-17. It was decided to promote 118 teachers of Grade-17 to Grade-18. Approval was given to promote 70 teachers of Grade-18 to Grade-19.
A total 200 teachers promoted
A total of 200 teachers were promoted to Grades 17, 18, and 19 to the next grades, resolving their long-standing issues.
The meeting of the Time Scale Committee was attended by Senior Additional Secretary Education Ms. Suraiya Khanum, Additional Secretary Education Ms. Misbah Awan, Deputy Secretary Education Professor Shakeel, Section Officer Education Syed Mehmood Hussain Shah, Assistant Directors Directorate General of Education Schools (Male) Majid Khalil and Syed Faheem Gilani, among other officers.
Education department officials stated that this initiative will not only boost the morale of teachers but also lead to improvement in the education system and increase performance.
