NGO hosts Ramadan Sahulat Bazaar at Mirpur’s Quaid-e-Azam Stadium

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Jammu Kashmir United Organization’s Welfare Wing of District Mirpur organised the Ramadan Sahulat Bazar at Mirpur’s Quaid-e-Azam Stadium.

The initiative was taken under the spirit to ensure supply of edibles at affordable prices to the consumers during the holy month of Ramadan.

Sardar Rizwan Hanif and Chaudhry Muhammad Shoaib (Organizer, Jammu Kashmir United Organization’s Welfare Wing District Mirpur) were the key figures behind establishing the Ramadan Sahulat Bazaar in the lake city.

DC Mirpur inaugurates bazaar

Mirpur Deputy Commissioner Yasir Riaz Chaudhry inaugurated the bazaar in the presence of the leaders of the host organization, organisers of the bazaar and a large number of the consumers.

Sardar Rizwan Hanif, Head of the NGO, conducted a detailed inspection of the prices and quality of essential food items available in the bazaar on Wednesday.

He instructed the management to provide maximum relief to the public and ensure the supply of high-quality goods.

He emphasized the need of providing quality items at reasonable prices being the top priority in holy month of Ramadan.

He also gave strict instructions to the concerned organisers to closely monitor the prices and not tolerate any profiteering or hoarding.

Nasir Taj, Organizer Ramadan Sahulat Bazaar, Chaudhry Zarar Tabi Spokesperson Jammu Kashmir United Welfare Wing Azad Kashmir, Salar Ahmed Information Secretary Jammu Kashmir United Welfare Wing District Mirpur, Abdul Waheed Ali Incharge Pawanda Water Rescue, and others were also present on the occasion.

Locals have lauded the initiative taken by the Jammu Kashmir United Organization, Welfare Wing for managing the Ramadan Sahulat Bazar in the city.

They appreciated the initiative and hoped that the organization would continue to provide relief to the masses during the holy month of Ramadan.
