RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Humaira Naseer has become the first woman to obtain a Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) license from City Traffic Police Rawalpindi, the police spokesperson said on Saturday.
According to officials, Humira Naseer cleared the HTV commercial driving test through the regular licensing procedure and appreciated the transparent and merit-based system adopted by the Rawalpindi Traffic Police.
The female candidate appreciated the transparent licensing system of the Rawalpindi Traffic Police.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi termed her achievement a positive step and described her as a role model for other women aspiring to enter professional driving and transport-related fields.
The CTO said women are proving their capabilities in every sector and encouraged more women to take advantage of equal opportunities in professional and technical fields.
