ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s former ambassador Ayaz Wazir’s daughter passed away in a fatal road accident in Islamabad on Saturday.
According to rescue officials, a tragic accident took place near the Parade Ground Metro Station in the federal capital, where the car lost control due to overspeeding and went onto the footpath.
At the time of the accident, the woman was allegedly using a mobile phone, official said. The woman died on the spot and was later identified as Riyan Wazir, daughter of former ambassador Ayaz Wazir.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to PIMS while police have launched an investigation into the incident.
