MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court on Wednesday issued a stay order on the advertisements for vacant posts in various government departments across the state and temporarily suspended the recruitment process.

Various petitions were filed in the High Court, challenging the legality of recent government job advertisements and the recruitment procedures adopted by different departments.

Following an initial hearing, the court ordered all relevant authorities to halt further proceedings until further notice.

During the hearing, the judge ordered the formation of a Division Bench for the hearing of all petitions of a similar nature to ensure a joint examination of the legal and constitutional points involved in the cases.

According to sources, a formal hearing of this important matter is expected before the division bench in the next few days.

Judicial sources said a formal hearing before the Division Bench is expected in the coming days, where key issues related to the transparency of recruitment advertisements, merit-based appointments, and compliance with legal procedures will be discussed in detail.
