BHIMBER (Kashmir English): The Office of the District Health Officer (DHO) Bhimber, Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of various permanent jobs in the Public Health Department from Scale 1 to Scale 5.
Recruitment to these posts will be made purely on the basis of open merit under the prevailing rules and regulations, for which applications have been invited from the candidates fulfilling the required criteria on plain paper.
Total Number of Jobs Announced
According to the advertisement, 10 posts of Lady Health Worker (BPS-05) are vacant for which the educational qualification is Matriculation Second Division, however, preference will be given to candidates who have matriculated with science.
Similarly, there are 07 posts of Driver (BPS-05) for which Middle Pass, PSV License and 3 years of experience have been declared as mandatory conditions.
There are also 04 vacancies for Female Attendant (BPS-02) and 10 vacancies for Male Attendant (BPS-02) in the department. The educational standard for these posts is literacy and aptitude, for which there will be a test of 50 marks (25 marks for writing Urdu paragraph and 25 marks for reading Urdu paragraph).
Apart from this, literate and suitable candidates will also be selected for 01 posts of Finance (BPS-02), 02 posts of Security Guard (BPS-02) and 02 posts of Sanitary Worker (BPS-02).
The applicant for the jobs must be a first class resident of the state and a separate application must be made for each post. For Lady Health Worker, only women who are permanent residents of the concerned village or catchment area will be eligible to apply.
Candidates can submit their applications along with attested copies of their educational and technical certificates, National Identity Card, State of residence and domicile within 10 days of the publication of the advertisement during office hours.
As per the Health Department, incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be accepted under any circumstances and it is mandatory to mention the mobile number on the application.
The decision of the Selection Committee for all the posts will be considered final and no TA/DA will be given to any candidate appearing for the test or interview.
The test and interview schedule for the posts has also been released, according to which the test and interview for serial numbers 01 and 02 (Lady Health Worker and Driver) will be held on May 19, 2026, while the test and interview for all the remaining posts from serial numbers 03 to 07 will be held on May 20, 2026 at the District Health Office Bhimber.
