ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Supporters of the Kashmir cause have reiterated calls for international action on Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to amplify demands for a resolution in line with UN resolutions.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Kashmiri people based in Europe, America and even Russia are behind the campaign, joining activists and rights advocates worldwide.
They said every freedom-loving individual has a responsibility to speak out for the people of IIOJK, describing it as a moral duty for those who value justice to become the voice of the oppressed.
Support for Kashmiris
They argued that each expression of solidarity brings Kashmiris closer to justice and freedom.
“Standing with the beleaguered people of Kashmir is standing with humanity,” one statement read, urging the Muslim Ummah to end silence and speak out for the affected population.
The campaign also called on the international community to abandon what it termed double standards and to support Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
Participants stressed that it is time for the United Nations to fulfill its commitments and ensure a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
The appeal comes amid ongoing calls for diplomatic and humanitarian engagement on the situation in the region.
