AJK govt to host ‘Job Festival’ in Muzaffarabad on April 28-29

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government is set to organize a two-day ‘Job Festival’ starting tomorrow, April 28, at the New Prime Minister’s House in Jalalabad, Muzaffarabad, the DGPR AJK said in a statement.

The job festival will be held under the auspices of the AJK govt’s Sports, Youth, and Culture Department to provide employment and better opportunities for higher education to the youth.

The job festival aims to guide the youth regarding opportunities for education, employment, and professional development abroad.

Ahead of the job festival, Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir Khushal Khan visited the New Prime Minister’s House today and reviewed the arrangements.

Secretary of Sports, Youth and Culture, Ansar Yaqoob, Commissioner Muzaffarabad Division Badar, Deputy Commissioner, and officers of various departments were also present.

During the job fest, experts, consultants, and representatives of relevant departments will provide guidance to the youth regarding education, employment, and career planning abroad.

Various government departments, overseas employment and education advisory institutions, private organizations, recruitment centers in the armed forces, self-employment, skill development institutions, and food stalls will be set up in the festival.

Students, fresh graduates, young candidates, and the general public have been invited to participate in the Job Festival.

This initiative of the Azad Kashmir government will play an important role in highlighting the talents of the youth, guiding them in the right direction, and connecting them with better employment opportunities, the government’s statement said.

“Through the festival, the youth will be made aware of opportunities in the fields of information technology, tourism, health, business, and skills,” it added.
