ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Samsung has completed its work on the Galaxy S26 series and now intends to develop its next line of foldable devices.
The newly released information about the Galaxy Z Flip8 reveals details about the battery cells which will power the device. The upcoming foldable device will not introduce any improvements to its battery system when compared to its previous model.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 will operate through two battery cells, which use model numbers EB-BF776 and EB-BF777, according to the leak. The cells have a total capacity of 4,174mAh because they contain two cells with capacities of 1,150mAh and 3,024mAh.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 used a similar setup last year, with cells rated at 1,189mAh and 2,985mAh. The cell division between the two batteries changed, but their total capacity, which they could deliver to the system, remained unchanged.
Samsung will promote the Galaxy Z Flip8 with a standard battery power of 4,300mAh, which matches the battery specifications of its previous version. The difference between rated and typical capacity exists to account for manufacturing variations.
Fold Series May Lead Sales Recent rumors indicate that Samsung expects its Galaxy Z Fold8 to have higher sales numbers than its Galaxy Z Flip8 product. If that happens, it would be the first time a Fold model becomes more popular than the Flip series.
Reports indicate that Samsung may also introduce a third foldable device this year, possibly a wider book-style foldable instead of another Flip FE model. The Galaxy Z Flip8 may also keep the same camera system that previous models used.
Samsung Galaxy S26
Earlier, Samsung presented the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026. The announcement comes ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
The company intends to launch its products worldwide starting from the period after the launch, while the products will become available in stores during the first week of March. Samsung usually launches its mobile devices in Pakistan at the same time as the worldwide release, which creates a need to discuss the Pakistani market price for this product.
Galaxy S26 Expected Price in Pakistan
The Galaxy S26 series will not have official pricing information from Samsung for the Pakistani market yet. Samsung’s pricing patterns enable us to develop an approximate value that we expect to find in the market.
Local industry sources and pricing trackers offer projected ranges based on current market patterns and previous model pricing. So the assumed prices are:
- Galaxy S26: Rs 220,000 to Rs. 262,000
- Galaxy S26+: Rs. 280,000 to Rs. 335,000
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: Rs. 350,999 to Rs. 509,999.
In the United States, early pricing leaks suggest starting points close to the previous generation:

- Galaxy S26+: Around $999
