LAHORE (Kashmir English): A new weather system is likely to enter Punjab tonight, bringing rain and colder weather, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Saturday.
The system is expected to affect districts including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Sargodha on Sunday, with a likely drop in temperatures across the province.

The system is expected to influence weather conditions in various parts of the country until February 3. In Lahore, the minimum temperature is expected at 9°C, with a maximum of 21°C.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that from February 1 to 3, cold conditions will intensify across most regions of the country.
Rain is expected in Nushki, Quetta, Ziarat, Qila Saifullah, Zhob, and Chaman, while snowfall is likely in the surrounding mountainous areas.
Severe cold and heavy snowfall are forecast in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The PMD cautioned that snowfall could make roads slippery and increase the risk of landslides in hilly areas, advising travellers to take precautionary measures.
The harsh weather may also reduce visibility due to fog, prompting authorities to remain on high alert.
In January, Naran and Kaghan experienced record-breaking snowfall that paralysed daily life, blocked roads, and disrupted electricity supply for almost five days.
While the heavy snowfall transformed the region into a scenic winter landscape, it also created significant challenges for local population.
