KABUL (Kashmir English): An Indian combat drone was crashed on the outskirts of Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital of Maidan Wardak, in Afghanistan, it emerged on Thursday.

Sources said that visuals from the crash site indicate the drone closely resembles an Israeli‑made Heron UAV. Notably, India is the only country in the region known to operate this model, sources stated.

As per details, P‑AM has reported multiple times that this Israeli-made drone was delivered to India in May under the guise of humanitarian aid.

The drone’s crash in Afghanistan underscores India’s role in destabilising the region.
