RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have left their workers outside Adiala jail after making TikTok videos, according to media reports.

As per the details, the PTI workers gathered outside Adiala jail to protest against the authorities for not letting the sisters of the PTI founder meet him.

However, the main PTI leadership left while the protest was underway, triggering anger among party workers.

Earlier, former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan, Uzma Khanum, and Noreen Niazi staged a sit-in outside Adiala Jail after being denied permission to meet him.

Earlier, PTI chief and ex-prime minister Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan, Uzma Khanum, and Noreen Niazi sat in protest outside Adiala Jail as they were not allowed to meet Imran Khan there.

The protest started at the Factory Checkpost, where a considerable number of PTI supporters had gathered and were determined not to disperse until they gained entry into Khan.

The police thwarted Khan’s sisters and PTI supporters who were trying to proceed towards the prison.

Security was beefed up around Adiala Jail, imposing Section 144, deployment of police personnel on routes leading to jails, installation of anti-riot barriers at Gorakhpur, and water cannons outside Gate 5.

The PTI Secretary-General, Salman Akram Raja, joined the sit-in later on. While addressing the media at the Factory Checkpost, Salman said that the show of solidarity in favor of the family of Imran Khan shouldn’t only be exhibited by the members of the parliament.
