ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistani TikToker Zariq Nazir, residing in the UK, has announced that he will return to Pakistan and present himself for the ongoing investigation by the National Cyber Crimes Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
In an interview with a private TV channel, Zariq Nazir stated that he would go to Pakistan and face all allegations. He hoped that the relevant institution will treat him fairly.
He said that he had not joined the inquiry earlier because he feared blackmailing and violence, and he was scared due to the treatment meted out to some TikTokers in the past.

Zariq Nazir mentioned that he was present at the time of the arrest of Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala and was an eyewitness to the entire situation.
According to him, both their mobile phones remained switched off for approximately 48 hours after the arrest.
He said that he is returning to Pakistan on Monday (today). Initially, all three had planned to return together, but Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala left without informing him, he said.
It is worth noting that Rajab Butt, Nadeem Naniwala, and Zariq Nazir are accused of persuading the public to invest in online trading, gaming, and betting applications to gain financial benefits.
Responding to these allegations, Zariq Nazir said that he has never used any gambling or betting app nor promoted any illegal activity.
His stance is that the FIR registered against him is baseless and false. He clarified that no case has been filed against him in the UK, Dubai, or any other country.
Zariq Nazir further stated that all funds sent to Pakistan were transferred through legal means and banking channels, and he has also been sending money to Pakistan legally from Dubai.
