27th Constitutional Amendment heads to Senate for approval tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government has decided to present the 27th Constitutional Amendment in the Senate tomorrow.

The Senate session will be held tomorrow at 11 am, and a 45-point agenda has been issued.

Senator Farooq H. Naik will present the committee report on the 27th Constitutional Amendment in the House.

Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar will present the Constitutional Amendment Bill in the House for approval.

On the other hand, the National Assembly session will be held tomorrow at 4:30 pm.

The PPP members have included a note to draw attention to the 35 percent increase in cybercrime in 2025.

Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema will present the Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill.

The Iqbal Academy Amendment Bill 2025 will also be presented in the National Assembly session, the report of the Standing Committee on the National Commission for Human Rights (Amendment) Bill 2025 will be presented, and the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Interior, Raja Khurram Nawaz, will also present the report.

The development of the automobile industry in Kabul 2025 is also on the agenda.

The Privatization Commission (Amendment) Bill 2025, which further amends the Privatization Commission Ordinance 2000, will be presented.

All members of the Senate and the National Assembly have been directed to attend the joint parliamentary party meeting tomorrow.

In addition, a meeting of the joint parliamentary party of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has also been called on the issue of approving the 27th Constitutional Amendment.

The meeting will be held tomorrow at 3 pm in the Parliament House.
