MELBOURNE (Kashmir English): The Ashes series between Australia and England will start from November 21 (Friday).
The five-match Test series between Australia and England will take place from November 21, 2025, to January 8, 2026.
The matches will be held in various Australian cities as Perth (Nov 21–25), Brisbane (Dec 4–8), Adelaide (Dec 17–21), Melbourne (Dec 26–30), and Sydney (Jan 4–8).
This year’s Ashes series
This year’s series is also part of the 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship.
The trophy for the Ashes series landed at the Sydney Cricket Stadium via helicopter few days back while former Australian captain Steve Waugh received the trophy.
It is pertinent to mention that it was in 2015 when England last won the Ashes series against Australia.
Separately, the Australian team will visit Pakistan to play a T20I series against the Green Shirts ahead of the forthcoming T20 World Cup next year.
The Pakistan-South Africa series is slated to take place from January 30 to February 5.
