LAHORE (Kashmir English): Renowned singer and ‘Presidential Medal of Excellence’ recipient Ali Zafar has announced to hold a special fundraising concert to support victims of the devastating floods in the country.

The event will take place at the Alhamra Cultural Complex here on September 27.

The artist, known for blending music with social activism, has said that all proceeds from the event will be diverted to the rehabilitation of flood-hit families through the Ali Zafar Foundation.

Many of these families have lost their dear ones, homes, livelihoods, and access to basic necessities.

Zafar also hinted at surprise performances by other prominent musicians, with names likely to be disclosed closer to the event.

In a heartfelt statement, the artist emphasised that the event is more than just entertainment.

“The concert is not just music, but a voice. Let us all come together and become a beacon of hope for those who are still waiting for help. Let us stand with those who need us the most,” he said.

Tickets for the concert are now on sale and can be purchased via the Ticketwala website.

The artist has encouraged both fans and supporters to contribute by attending the event, where music will serve as both a message of resilience and a call to action.
