SHARJAH (Kashmir English): After winning the toss, Pakistan has opted to bat first against Afghanistan in the opening match (Pak vs Afg) of the T20I tri-series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
As of eight overs, the Green Shirts have lost three wickets with 63 runs on the scoreboard. Shaibzada Farhan was caught out after scoring 21 runs.
Both these teams and the United Arab Emirates are part of a double round-robin format T20I series, which will be held from August 29 to September 5.
All the matches of the Tri-Series will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The series will serve as a rehearsal for the upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled from September 9 to 28 in the UAE.
