Major among three Pak Army soldiers martyred in Mastung attack: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Kashmir English): Three Pakistan Army soldiers including a Major, embraced shahadat in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on a security forces vehicle in Mastung District of Balochistan, the ISPR said on Wednesday.

The ISPR in a post on X said that on night 5/6 August 2025, terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan, targeted a Security Forces vehicle with an improvised explosive device in Mastung District of Balochistan.

“Resultantly, three brave sons of soil; Maj Muhammad Rizwan Tahir (age: 31 years; resident of Narowal District) along with Naik Ibni Amin (age: 37 years; resident of Swabi District) and Lance Naik Muhammad Younas (age: 33 years; resident of Karak District) paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.

A brave army officer

Major Rizwan Shaheed was a brave officer, who participated in numerous counter terrorism operations and always led his troops from the front.

In the ensuing sanitization of the area, four Indian sponsored terrorists were located and sent to hell, the ISPR statement said.

The media wing of the military said that sanitization operation would continue to eliminate an terrorist present in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. It further said that such sacrifices of the brave men further strengthen their resolve.
