KARACHI (Kashmir English): Gold prices in Pakistan rose for a second day in a row on Saturday, despite gold pricing declining sharply in the global markets on the last trading day of the week.
On Saturday, bullion prices rose by Rs2,400 to Rs338,500. Ten-gram gold prices also rose significantly, up by Rs2,058 with a total of Rs290,209. 22–Karat Gold was priced at Rs312,766.

Analysts in the market say that prices for precious metals are rising due to various continuing uncertainties in the global economy and fluctuations in demand, which are influencing the local market.
