ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English):  The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has instructed parents to get their children’s B form done on time and to renew it if it expires.

According to NADRA, it is necessary to register the child with the Union Council within 30 days of birth, after which the child’s first B form can be obtained from NADRA.

In a message issued by NADRA, it was stated that a photograph is not required for the B form for children under 3 years of age.

Moreover, if a passport is to be made for the child after obtaining the B form, a photograph will be mandatory; however, fingerprints of children of this age will not be taken.

As per NADRA, a photograph is mandatory for the B form for children aged 3 to 10, while fingerprints will also be required along with a photograph for children aged 10 to 18. Children over the age of 3 will also have to come to the NADRA office for the B Form process.

To get the B form completed, parents will need to bring their CNIC number and either a birth certificate or a CRMS number issued by the Union Council.

In addition, citizens can also apply for a B Form from home through the Pak ID mobile app.

According to NADRA, the fee for the normal B Form is Rs 50 and can be obtained within 7 days, while the fee for the executive B Form is Rs 500 and is issued within 1 day.
