MUMBAI (Kashmir English): Bollywood stars Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar are set to reunite on the big screen after a gap of 22 years in the upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle.

As reported in Indian media, this is the reunion of the two actors in the highly anticipated comedy movie, where they will make their debut as a duo after Police Force: An Inside Story in 2004.

While speaking to Indian media, Raveena Tandon expressed her enthusiasm for working again with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Ahmed Khan. The actress said she was thrilled to work with people who have been her friends for so many years.

“We are all old friends, and we have known each other for many years now,” said the actress.

Besides this, Raveena spoke highly of Akshay Kumar’s professional evolution as an actor over the years. She called him an actor who had never abandoned his profession for anything else.

“Akshay was, is, and will always be an excellent actor. He works very sincerely, and that sincerity keeps increasing day by day,” she said.

According to the actress, both of them entered the film industry when they did not know much about it. However, over the years, Akshay has mastered his profession.

It should be noted that Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon have worked together in many memorable films, including Mohra, Main Khiladi Toh Anari, Khiladi Ka Khiladi, Barood, Price, and other films.

Moreover,  the film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is directed by Ahmed Khan and includes a large number of Bollywood stars, including Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon and more than 30 other Bollywood artists.

Akshay Kumar’s new film Welcome to the Jungle will be released on June 26, and due to its large cast and large scale, the film is already gaining significant attention among fans and film circles.
