WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): US President Donald Trump has announced that the Peace Council has reached an agreement to disarm Hamas in Gaza.

President Trump said that as soon as the process of disarming Gaza is complete, Israeli forces will withdraw.

Trump said that the agreement is an important step towards the establishment of a new Palestinian government in Gaza.

The agreement will be implemented in a phased and orderly manner. The International Stabilization Force will take responsibility for Gaza together with the Palestinian police.

President Trump, on his social media platform Truth Social, said that the Peace Council today reached a historic agreement regarding the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. This agreement is being described as an important milestone towards lasting peace and security.

Trump said that under this agreement, a new Palestinian government will be established in Gaza, which will work together with the Peace Council for the welfare of the Palestinian people.

At the same time, Israel will be provided with the security it demands, so that Gaza cannot be used as a base for future attacks.

The US President said that this agreement is an important step towards implementing my 20-point plan. It will be implemented in stages, and as the disarmament process is complete, Israeli forces will withdraw from Gaza, while the International Stabilization Force will take over responsibility for peace and order in Gaza, together with the new Palestinian police.

The statement said that a year ago, Gaza was suffering from intense war, a humanitarian crisis and hostage-taking, but significant progress has been made, although more work remains to be done.

On this occasion, Trump praised the mediation role of Egypt, Qatar, and Turkiye and thanked them, while also calling the efforts of the negotiating team a cause of historic progress.

President Trump’s statement added that the threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will not be allowed to resurface.

In the end, it was said that under this agreement, Gaza will ultimately be handed over to a new Palestinian government that will serve its people, and everyone was congratulated, describing this development as a historic achievement.
