ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad Police Dolphin Force has announced recruitment for various positions.
Online applications have been invited from eligible male and female candidates for a total of 790 vacancies for Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Constable.
According to the Islamabad Police spokesperson, youth from Azad Kashmir will also be eligible to apply for the jobs under the quota system.
The announced vacancies include the positions of Sub-Inspector (BS-14), Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11), and Constable (BS-07).
Educational qualification for Islamabad Police jobs
For the post of Sub-Inspector, the candidate must hold at least a second division or Grade C Bachelor’s degree, a Post-Intermediate Associate degree, or a four-year BS degree from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Physical standards
For recruitment, the minimum height for male candidates is set at 5 feet 7 inches, while for female candidates, it must be 5 feet 2 inches.
Chest measurement for male candidates is set at 33 to 34 inches. Vision standard must be 6/6, and conditions regarding vision standards with and without glasses will also apply.
Running standards
During the physical test, male candidates must complete a distance of 1.6 km in 7 minutes, while female candidates must complete the same distance in 10 minutes.
Details regarding educational qualifications and physical standards for the positions of Assistant Sub-Inspector and Constable have also been set according to the recruitment rules.
