TEXAS (Kashmir English): Three golf enthusiasts in the United States have built the world’s largest pyramid of golf balls.

A team of volunteers in the US state of Texas led by Michael Furrh, Debbie Reynolds and Terri Janak, arranged 19,019 golf balls to build the pyramid.

The record-breaking structure reached 38 rows high and was built at the Benbrook Par 3 & Driving Range, breaking the previous 2022 record of 17,575 balls.

To qualify for the Guinness World Records title, the team was strictly asked not to use any adhesive or securing products.

The balls were carefully balanced and braced using a custom-built wooden stage.

The previous record was set by Zachary Krivda of Pennsylvania in 2022, who used 17,575 golf balls for the structure.

The latest pyramid

The latest attempt took place at Benbrook Lake, Texas in September last year. Following the verification process and other modalities, the record was officially recognised a few days ago.
