PISHIN (Kashmir English): Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan has killed six terrorists of a banned outfit in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Pishin district.
According to a CTD spokesperson, four CTD personnel were also injured during the operation.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.
The spokesperson further said that the terrorists killed in the operation were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians in recent months in the Pishin area.
The bodies of the suspects were shifted to a hospital in Quetta.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Home Affairs Adviser Babar Yousafzai praised the successful operations against terrorists in Pishin and Qila Abdullah.
Yousafzai said security forces and law enforcement agencies had carried out effective operations, resulting in six suspected terrorists being killed and five others arrested.
