Qatar is offering Pakistani passport holders a free tourist visa on arrival, allowing them to stay in the Gulf country for up to 30 days, provided they fulfil specific entry requirements.

According to reports, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has extended this visa facility to citizens of Pakistan, India and Thailand. However, the duration of stay depends on the traveller’s confirmed hotel reservation and cannot exceed 30 days.

The facility allows eligible Pakistani travellers to visit Qatar without obtaining a tourist visa in advance, making travel arrangements easier for those planning holidays or short visits.

Four Mandatory Requirements for Pakistani Travellers

Pakistani passport holders must fulfil four mandatory conditions to qualify for the free visa on arrival in Qatar.

1. Passport Validity

Applicants must hold a Pakistani passport valid for at least three months from their date of arrival in Qatar.

2. Confirmed Return Ticket

Travellers must have a confirmed return flight ticket before travelling to Qatar.

3. Hotel Booking Through Discover Qatar

Visitors must have a confirmed hotel reservation made exclusively through the official Discover Qatar website. Hotel bookings made through other travel agencies or accommodation websites will not be accepted for this facility.

4. Approved Health Insurance

Travellers must obtain valid health insurance from an insurance company approved by the Qatari authorities.

How Long Can Pakistanis Stay in Qatar?

Under the visa-on-arrival facility, eligible Pakistani visitors can stay in Qatar for a maximum of 30 days.

However, the actual permitted duration may be shorter depending on the length of the confirmed hotel reservation. The stay cannot exceed the 30-day limit.

Pakistani travellers planning to visit Qatar are advised to complete all four requirements before departure to avoid difficulties during immigration clearance.
