ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has appealed to the public for help in locating his missing pet dog, Max, in Islamabad.
Afridi said Max is a beloved member of his family and holds a special place in their lives. He revealed that the puppy survived a serious illness when he was only 30 days old, making the family’s bond with him even more special.

The former cricketer urged anyone who finds Max to keep him safe and contact his family at the earliest. Afridi’s appeal has gained significant attention on social media, with fans and users sharing the message.
Earlier, Former Pakistan cricket Captain Wasim Akram appealed for people’s help in finding his missing pet dog named Duke, who ran off from DHA Phase-08 of Karachi.
Sharing an appeal on social media today, the former cricketer asked people to keep vigilance and share any relevant information about his missing German Shepherd pup.
Akram’s pet is five months old, black in color, male, GermanShepherdd, long coat & no visible marking.
“Residents of DHA Phase 8, security personnel, and local communities are being appealed to for assistance,” Wasim Akram and his wife, Shaniera Akram, wrote on social media.
They added that “the little pup could have got lost in nearby parks, gardens, streets, rooftops, or even the garages”. So they have requested people to check out such areas thoroughly.
