Shaheen Shah Afridi likely to miss West Indies, England Tests

Earlier, Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is likely to miss the West Indies and England Tests, as the chances of him being overlooked for the West Indies and England tours have increased.

According to details, the selection committee didn’t name the fast bowler in the recently announced 22-player squad for the red-ball camp.

Sources said he has been informed that since he does not play first-class cricket, he will not be considered for the West Indies and England tours.

Interestingly, Shaheen did participate in the recent Test series against Bangladesh, where this criterion was not followed.
