MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK President Shah Ghulam Qadir has denied the authenticity of a letter circulating on social media in his name, describing it as fake and AI-generated.
In a post on Facebook, Qadir said the letter attributed to him and being circulated on social media was fabricated and had been generated using artificial intelligence.
Moreover, he also spoke exclusively with Kashmir Digital, where he clarified that he had not written or issued any such letter. He said that the document circulating on social media is fake and apparently has been generated with artificial intelligence (AI).
He clarified that the viral document on social media should not be considered as an official or political position issued by him. According to him, the said letter is being spread on social media by attributing it to him, which is not based on reality.
The President of the Muslim League (N) Azad Kashmir said that in the present era, it has become easy to create fake documents, images and statements through artificial intelligence and digital technology and make them appear real.

Earlier, an alleged letter written by Shah Ghulam Qadir to the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has come to light.
Qadir was among the names reportedly under consideration for the AJK prime ministership following the 2026 general elections in the region, but the party chose Iftikhar Gilani for the top post.
The letter circulating on social media stated that an ISI sector commander had described him as a “CI case,” i.e., a counter-espionage case, and had allegedly presented a report to senior officials, which he said contributed to his exclusion from the race for the prime ministership.
The letter mentioned that the officer had shown a report to journalists and politicians accusing him and his daughter of having links with hostile intelligence agencies through some NGOs.
