ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The authorities have warned Pakistani citizens about a fake website posing as an online portal for Kyrgyzstan visa applications and verification.
According to the warning, the false website looks like an authentic visa service, which might lead you to enter your personal data as well as your payment details.
Citizens have been urged by the authorities not to attempt a Kyrgyzstan visa application on this website, check or enter documents for verification, make payments, or enter their details on this platform.
The general public has been asked to be watchful of suspicious activities. Citizens were especially urged never to fill in their passport or CNIC details, bank account details, or Credit and Debit card details on an unverified website.
One must only search for a Kyrgyzstan visa on the country’s authentic visa portal and/or web pages controlled by the Kyrgyz Diplomatic Mission.
It was also advised to avoid sending the link to others or re-forwarding it, but report such links to the concerned authorities.
It is noteworthy that the authorities were asked to issue this warning, taking concerns about fraudulent online websites for those who wish to have employment, overseas travel, and visa services seriously.
Citizens are advised that they should verify the domain name of the visa service and ensure that their personal and card details are secure.
