SWAT (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on Monday conducted a joint patrol and flag rally in Swat amid the prevailing security situation, with residents expressing solidarity with the security forces.

Sources said that the citizens of Swat expressed their full solidarity with the Pakistan Army and KP Police and reiterated their full support for law enforcement agencies by holding the national flag.

A large number of Pakistan Army soldiers, police personnel, citizens, and children participated in the flag rally.

The participants carried the national flag and raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Army Zindabad.”

During the joint patrol, convoys of security vehicles and motorcycles patrolled the main highways of the city, while citizens gathered along the routes to express their support.

This activity was aimed at further strengthening the sense of security among the people, promoting mutual trust, and sending a clear message to the elements hostile to the country, sources added.

“This unity, solidarity, and harmony are clear evidence that the people, the Pakistan Army, and the police are determined to face every challenge together, and this shared determination is the guarantee of lasting peace and stability in Swat.”
