Rawalpindi schools reopen today

RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): All educational institutions in Rawalpindi will reopen today (Monday) following days of disruption due to possible protests in the twin cities.

The Rawalpindi District Education Authority confirmed that schools will resume normal operations from today.

Meanwhile, BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan has announced that the English paper scheduled for Monday has been postponed in Jhelum district following a request from the deputy commissioner.

A new date will be announced later. The examinations in Attock, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Talagang and Murree districts will proceed as scheduled.

All Pakistan Private Schools Association

The All Pakistan Private Schools Association has announced that all educational institutions in the Rawalpindi district will reopen on Monday as per routine.

In a joint declaration, the three major private school organisations confirmed the announcement to resume classes across private institutions.

President All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) Punjab chapter, Abid Ahmad Khan, also confirmed the reopening.

The Punjab Education Department updated its official website to confirm that schools would be open from October 13. According to the notification, all public and private schools, colleges, and universities across Rawalpindi district will resume normal operations from Monday.
