ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad Traffic Police has announced a special concession for college and university students seeking motorcycle driving licences, allowing them to obtain their licences on the same day without completing the mandatory 42-day learner permit period.
Under the initiative, eligible students will be exempted from the standard 42-day waiting period and can obtain their motorcycle driving licences through an expedited process.
The special facility will remain available from November 1 to November 30, 2026. Students wishing to benefit from this concession can visit the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters during November.
According to the traffic police, students must bring their original CNIC, student identity card, and other required documents to avail themselves of the facility.
The initiative aims to make the licensing process easier and faster for students by eliminating the lengthy waiting period.
