MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Parliamentary Leader of the PML-N, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that all opposition parties have collectively decided to become a vibrant, active voice for public rights.
He said on this matter, there is no division among us. “We will unite and give a tough time to the government. We will strongly oppose and not allow the government to act arbitrarily or unlawfully.”
Former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider said that the required number of members is present to call the assembly session, and that they will not let the government run away from the session.
Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, while talking to various public delegations at his residence, said that the assembly is the representative of the people and the guardian of rights, where the government and all institutions are accountable.
“An effective strategy has been devised to make the government accountable for all matters, under which the united opposition will play its role.”
Leader of the Opposition Shah Ghulam Qadir is the leader of all opposition parties, and he will also represent everyone, Haider said. “We will not allow this government to act arbitrarily under any circumstances.”
Raja Farooq Haider said that in the meeting held during the Legislative Assembly session for the formation of the current government, members of PML-N, PTI, and the Forward Bloc decided that they would collectively act as the opposition, and there would be no compromise on public rights and the dignity of the assembly.
