ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a new portal for the convenience of mobile users across the country.

Through this portal, users will be able to easily compare call, SMS, and internet packages of different mobile operators on a single platform.

According to PTA, the new portal has been added to the consumer awareness section of the organization’s website.

Through this facility, users will be able to compare the packages available from different mobile operators including Jazz, Zong, Ufone and Telenor Pakistan.

The new system will provide information related to the price of packages, available internet data, call minutes, SMS and other facilities, which will make it easier for users to understand the differences between the offers of different companies.

An important feature of the new PTA portal is the facility to review the changes in the prices of packages over time.

Users will be able to see how the price of a particular package has changed over the past few months or years, along with the current prices.

This feature will help users understand the trend of price increases or decreases of different mobile operators.

In this way, users will be able to make better decisions by reviewing the historical prices of the package instead of just looking at the current price.

The new portal can be especially useful for those users who want to compare mobile packages of different companies before buying them.

People who use a lot of internet will be able to compare different data packages, while users who make a lot of calls will be able to compare packages based on call minutes.

Similarly, users who use a lot of SMS will also be able to find a package that suits their needs and budget. With information available on a single platform, users will reduce the need to search for separate information on the websites or apps of different mobile companies.

PTA says that the main objective of launching the new portal is to promote transparency in the telecom sector and keep users informed about changes in the prices and facilities of mobile packages in a timely manner.

According to the authority, an informed user can make a better decision by keeping in mind their usage, needs, and budget.

This can also help consumers avoid unnecessary expenses and choose a mobile package that is more suitable for them.
