ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has suggested his party to reject the Azad Kashmir election results and boycott the third and final phase of the polls.
Regarding the Azad Kashmir elections, the senior PPP leader said that PML-N is leading the situation towards further destruction.
He said that the Election Commission is under the influence of their opposing party adding that the Chief Election Commissioner is responsible for the entire matter.
He said an assembly formed in this manner and under these circumstances cannot solve problems.
PPP on AJK election
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that if the election is not transparent, no one will accept it, it is my personal opinion that PPP should reject the results and boycott the third phase. He, however, said that the final decision will be made by the central leadership of the party.
PPP Secretary General Nayyar Bukhari said that the elections in Azad Kashmir are non-transparent and rigged adding PPP will not accept the results.
Another PPP leader Nadeem Afzal Chan said an election similar to what he said the ultra form-47, is visible in Azad Kashmir, alleging the role of the Azad Kashmir Election Commission has become suspicious.
PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said what credibility will the government formed from such elections have, adding ‘this Azad Kashmir election has been snatched from us’.
