KOTLI (Kashmir English): Official vehicle of Commissioner Poonch Division Masood-ur-Rehman overturned while traveling from Khoi Ratta towards Kotli, Azad Kashmir on Sunday injuring his driver and the gunman.

At the time, the Commissioner was not in the vehicle. According to detail, at the time of the accident, Poonch Division Commissioner Masood-ur-Rehman was traveling in the DIG Poonch’s vehicle.
The vehicle fell into a deep ditch. The injured driver and gunman were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Poonch Division Commissioner Masood-ur-Rehman later said that the condition of the injured is out of danger.
It is to be noted that a day earlier, the brother of Government Minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi had passed away, for which Commissioner Masood-ur-Rehman had gone to Kotli Nikyal to offer condolences.
Poonch Division Commissioner Masood-ur-Rehman and Government Minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi are close relatives.
