MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Iftikhar Gilani, has stated that he would build an Azad Kashmir where every child has access to education, every patient to medical treatment, every youth to opportunities, and every citizen to dignity and essential amenities.
He remarked that the government’s 100-day reform program is merely the beginning; the goal is to steer Azad Kashmir toward modern, digital, transparent, efficient, and people-friendly governance.
Addressing a high-level meeting, Prime Minister Gilani affirmed that, God willing, the journey of development would reach the doorstep of every household.
He stated that the government is steering Azad Kashmir toward progress, prosperity, and modern governance, with a primary focus on education and health.
The Prime Minister added that a clean environment, improved infrastructure, and modern civic amenities are among their top priorities.
PM AJK Announces Scholarships
He announced that scholarships for talented students, model educational institutions, modern rescue services, and new opportunities for youth through IT initiatives would be introduced.
He further stated that a “One-Window Operation” service would be launched for public convenience, enabling citizens to apply for services online from anywhere in the world.
Iftikhar Gilani noted that the world is changing rapidly; therefore, we must adapt our systems, institutions, and development priorities to meet the demands of the times.
