ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Rejecting Afghan Taliban claim, Pakistan Monday said that its forces accurately targeted Afghan Taliban military installations in Kabul and Nangarhar.

Rejecting the Afghan Taliban claim as false and misleading, Pakistan’s Ministry of Information said that explosions in Kabul and Nangarhar did indicate the presence of weapons and ammunition over there.

According to the Ministry of Information, the claim by the so-called spokesman of the Taliban regime is contrary to facts, and the purpose of the Taliban regime’s claim is to mislead public opinion.

The “claim of this discredited so called spokesperson of Taliban regime is another misreporting of facts aimed at misleading public opinion”, the ministry said.

“On night 16 March, Pakistan precisely targeted military installations and terrorist support infrastructure including technical equipment storage and ammunition storage of Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij in Kabul and Nangarhar that were being used against innocent Pakistani civilians. Post strike detonation of stored ammunition being used by Master Terror Proxy also fully contradicts the fake claim.”

“No collateral damage in Kabul”

The ministry said Pakistan’s targeting is precise and carefully undertaken to ensure no collateral damage is inflicted.

“This misreporting of facts as drug rehabilitation facility seeks to stir sentiments, covering illegitimate support to cross-border terrorism. The statement is rejected being false and misleading.”

It should be noted that according to security sources, Pakistani forces successfully targeted Afghan Taliban military installations in Kabul and Nangarhar on the night of March 16.

In these attacks, Pakistani forces effectively destroyed technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage at two locations in Kabul.

According to intelligence sources, 4 drone assembly workshops in Nangarhar and 2 in Kabul were targeted. In these drone assembly workshops, various parts of Indian and Israeli drones were being assembled.
