MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Iftikhar Gilani will visit Leepa Valley on November 7 and 8, with arrangements for his public engagements and meetings finalised.
According to a spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s House, the administration, relevant departments and local representatives have completed consultations ahead of the visit. Security arrangements, reception points and venues for public meetings have also been finalised.
The prime minister’s convoy will leave Muzaffarabad for Leepa Valley on November 7. He is scheduled to receive a welcome in Garhi Dupatta before proceeding towards Hattian Bala.
At 4:30 PM, the prime minister will be welcomed at Lamnian and Reshian, where he will also meet delegations from the local community.
His schedule includes another meeting with public delegations at the SSR Guest House in Leepa at 9:00 PM.
On November 8, Gilani will address a public gathering at the Girls Degree College in Leepa at 11:00 AM.
Later, he will visit the residence of Raja Sohail Nasir in Khai Wara at 1:30 PM, followed by a visit to the residence of Shaukat Javed Mir at 2:00 PM.
After completing his engagements in the valley, the prime minister’s convoy will return to Muzaffarabad.
