DUBAI (Kashmir English): The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Thursday released the full schedule for the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, putting arch-rivals Pakistan and India in the same group.
The eight-team continental tournament will be played in Dubai from August 28 to September 13, the ACC said.
The teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes defending champions India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The opening match of the tournament will be played on August 28 between Thailand and Hong Kong at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. All 15 matches of the event will be played at the same venue, while the final will be played on September 13.

The Pakistan Women’s team will begin its Asia Cup campaign against Thailand on September 1, while the national team’s most important match will be against arch-rivals India on September 5. Pakistan will play its final group stage match against Hong Kong on September 7.
As per the schedule, each team will play against the other three teams in its group in the group stage, after which the top two teams from both groups will make it to the semi-finals.
The first semi-final will be played on September 10 between the first-placed team of Group A and the second-placed team of Group B, while the second semi-final will be played on September 11 between the second-placed team of Group A and the first-placed team of Group B. The final of the event will be held on September 13.
