ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Pakistan’s army is their red line.

In a video statement released on the social media site X, Bilawal said that the soldier standing on the Kashmir border protects Pakistan by putting his life at risk. “I have said before that Pakistan’s army is our red line.”

The PPP Chairman said that the soldiers should not be the target of any political debate; they are the pride of the nation. “The sacrifices of our martyred soldiers and police personnel can never be forgotten.”

Bilawal said that every sacrifice will be respected and the families of the martyrs will get justice. He said, “It is our responsibility to respect those who are sacrificing their today for our tomorrow”.

Bilawal Bhutto demands fair play

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto had demanded in a video statement that the Election Commission Azad Kashmir should hold an open court hearing on all complaints related to rigging before August 2.

“The Election Commission should place polling station results and election records before the public.”

He said that the responsibility of the Election Commission is not to make any one political party win, rather the responsibility of the Election Commission is to protect the vote of the people of Kashmir. “We do not want a favour from anyone but we want our right.”

Bilawal Bhutto said that the decision on the credibility of the second phase of the Azad Kashmir elections will be determined by the provision of justice in the first phase. “We only want clean, transparent, and impartial elections.”
