Pakistan announces temporary airspace closure for next two days

KARACHI (Kashmir English): In a recent development, Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced the temporary closure of Pakistan’s airspace with India for the next 48 hours (2 Days).

According to the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, the airspace will remain closed on October 28 and 29, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM each day.

The closure will affect routes within the Lahore and Karachi Flight Information Regions (FIRs) that border India.

The airspace will remain closed for 3 hours during the 2 days, whereas the official notification has been sent to all airlines and aviation companies.
