LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan has extended the closure of its airspace for India by another month.

According to a private TV, the Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a new NOTAM extending the airspace closure, according to which Pakistani airspace will remain closed for Indian passenger and military aircraft until November 23, 2025.

According to the NOTAM, Indian aircraft will not be allowed to use Pakistan’s airspace.

Airspace closed for India since April 23

Pakistan has closed its airspace for India since April 23, 2025.

It is to be remembered that after the Pahalgam incident, India made baseless allegations against Pakistan and announced the termination of the Indus Waters Treaty, upon which Pakistan closed its airspace for India.

Using the Pahalgam incident as an excuse, India attacked Pakistan, to which Pakistan responded by shooting down 7 Indian aircraft and targeting 26 Indian defence installations, after which India immediately requested a ceasefire.
